HawaiiAlert.jp is a free service that automatically collects official disaster alerts in Hawaii — including tsunami, hurricane, flood, high surf, strong wind, and wildfire — and translates them into Japanese with AI. It’s designed to help Japanese tourists, residents, and students stay safe and informed during emergencies.

Currently, only alerts for the island of Oʻahu are delivered.
How often will I get alerts?
You’ll only receive messages when an alert is officially issued. Some weeks may have multiple alerts, while others may have none.
Can I stop the notifications?
Yes. You can stop notifications anytime by blocking or removing the account on LINE.
What are your data sources?
Official alerts from PTWC (Pacific Tsunami Warning Center), NWS (National Weather Service), CPHC (Central Pacific Hurricane Center), and HI-EMA (Hawaii Emergency Management Agency).
Is the translation accurate?
Alerts are summarized and translated by AI for clarity. While accuracy is prioritized, minor differences may occur — always confirm with official English sources when possible.

How do you handle privacy?
