Only Japanese translations of official disaster alerts (tsunami, hurricane, flood, high surf, strong wind, wildfire) for Oʻahu are sent. No ads or unrelated notifications.
Which islands are covered?
Currently, only alerts for the island of Oʻahu are delivered.
How often will I get alerts?
You’ll only receive messages when an alert is officially issued. Some weeks may have multiple alerts, while others may have none.
Can I stop the notifications?
Yes. You can stop notifications anytime by blocking or removing the account on LINE.
What are your data sources?
Official alerts from PTWC (Pacific Tsunami Warning Center), NWS (National Weather Service), CPHC (Central Pacific Hurricane Center), and HI-EMA (Hawaii Emergency Management Agency).
Is the translation accurate?
Alerts are summarized and translated by AI for clarity. While accuracy is prioritized, minor differences may occur — always confirm with official English sources when possible.
I’m not receiving any notifications
Try blocking and re-adding the account on LINE. This usually resets the connection and restores delivery.
How do you handle privacy?
We do not collect any personal information. Only your LINE account ID (anonymous) is used for notification delivery.
Is Japanese the only supported language?
Currently, yes. English support is under development for future expansion.
